Pornhub and Pillow Talk Launch ‘CONSENT EVENT’ Video Series
A roundtable discussion on the topic of consent is available to view online and features Academy Award-nominated actor and director Chloë Sevigny, author Liara Roux, Pornhub’s Kira Noir and many more.
NEW YORK - (October 26, 2022) - Pornhub, the world’s leading adult entertainment site, today announced the launch of the ‘CONSENT EVENT’ video series; intimate, roundtable discussions between a tapestry of influential artists, cultural figures, activists, and academics exploring consent and the multitude of ways it shows up in our lives. The series is available on Pornhub’s official Vimeo page and Pornhub’s Sexual Wellness Centre.
The CONSENT EVENT videos share the personal and nuanced conversations between panel members about this highly debated topic. Examples include Academy Award-nominated actor and director Chloë Sevigny, intimacy coordinator Teniece Divya Johnson (Pose, Slave Play, Succession) and fashion photographer and model Ethan James Green discussing the intricacies of negotiating consent on television, film, and fashion sets; Whore of New York author Liara Roux and adult performer and Pornhub Ambassador Kira Noir sharing the nuances of sex work, pornography, pleasure, and consent; and technologist and author of Cyberfeminism Index Mindy Seu detailing how social media applications use speed and allure to coerce consent from their users.

Filmed this summer at The SOHO Grand Hotel in Manhattan, CONSENT EVENT panelists also include therapist and trans girl suicide museum author hannah baer; activist and artist Lexii Foxx; and musician and mentor Samantha Urbani. CONSENT EVENT was conceived, directed, and hosted by scholar and editor Esra Soraya Padgett alongside Fiona Alison Duncan, the founder of Pillow Talk, a femme and LGBTQ+ centered event series that cultivates conversations on sex, love and communication.
