Kanye West & Willo Perron Serve as Creative Directors for First-Ever Pornhub Awards Show at Belasco Theatre in Los Angeles

Young M.A Accepted Visionary Award for Directorial Debut on Adult Film “The Gift,” Which Was Released Under the Pornhub Visionaries Director’s Club Earlier This Year

NEW YORK, N.Y. (September 7, 2018) – Pornhub, the premier online destination for adult entertainment, held its first-ever awards show last night at the Belasco Theatre in Los Angeles. The event was directed and curated by Kanye West and his creative house DONDA, in partnership with longtime collaborator Willo Perron and his agency WP&A.

Kanye’s personal creative stamp was felt in many aspects of the show. Wardrobe and make-up styling for all of the show’s presenters were provided by YEEZY, and replicas of the presenters’ looks were made in collaboration with Fashion Nova, soon to be available on fashionova.com. The event also featured high-energy performances by Teyana Taylor, Young M.A., Blackbear and Dana Dentata. Young M.A received the highly anticipated Visionary Award for her directorial debut on adult film “The Gift,” which was released under the Pornhub Visionaries Director’s Club earlier this year.

Hosted by industry mega-star Asa Akira, the star-studded event brought together the world’s most famous performers in adult entertainment to celebrate the biggest and best in each of Pornhub’s unconventional categories, as well as the top channels and most popular networks.

Over the course of the night, over 40 performers went home with bespoke erotica-inspired award statues designed by Kanye West. Highly coveted awards such as Most Popular Female Pornstar and Most Popular Male Pornstar were awarded to Riley Reid and Jordi El Niño Polla, respectively. Some winners in the fan voting category included Jenny Blighe for Cam Performer of the Year and Mandy Flores for Favorite Fetish Model, among others. Winners were decided by the viewing patterns of Pornhub’s millions of visitors and loyal members. Users were also encouraged to cast their votes for their own personal favorites in the various fan-voting categories.
